2026 Mercy Franklin Classic
Being part of a community means giving back.
It means showing up for your neighbors and the organizations doing meaningful work around you.
This morning, I showed up for my friends at Mercy Community Healthcare.
Labor Day marks Mercy’s signature annual event: The Franklin Classic. What began 27 years ago as a 5K has grown into a 10K, 5K, 15K combo and kids’ 1K, all beginning and ending in downtown Franklin.
It’s a bright, colorful and wonderfully Franklin event. As your friendly neighborhood photographer, I couldn’t help but dual-wield my cameras and cover it in my own way.
Here’s one more way I can give back:
If you participated, watched, volunteered or worked at the Franklin Classic—or you’re the parent or legal guardian of a child who did—you may request access via the form below. I wasn’t able to photograph nearly everyone, but, you are welcome to see if I did snap your photo!
You’ll be asked to confirm your connection to the event and agree to the personal-use terms before the private gallery link is emailed to you. Once inside, you’re welcome to download photographs of yourself or your own minor children for personal use.
What does “personal use” mean? In short, you may share the photographs on your personal social-media accounts, save them and make prints for yourself or your family. You can find my complete definition of Personal Use here.
Please download only photographs of yourself, your own minor children or someone who has given you permission. Please don’t download or share photographs of people you don’t know—particularly children. It’s just not freaking cool.
Businesses, organizations, sponsors, publications, influencers and other commercial brands may not use these images without my written permission. That remains true even if you or someone from your organization appears in the photograph. If you’d like permission, email me and ask. Unless you’re putting a big ad spend behind it, the likely answer is going to be “Yes… with some rules.”
All photographs remain copyright © 2026 Kris Rae Photography. Downloads are provided under a limited, noncommercial personal-use license. Copyright is not transferred, and all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
