From COVID to creative
Day in and day out, we communicate with people around the world, nation, state and region on a daily basis. We take it for granted how easy it is to work with someone that you barely ever see in person. But, when the world went into lockdown, our closest collaborators suddenly became our neighbors once more.
A COVID-born venture through and through, when we needed somewhere and someone to create with, Jenny Cato and I found each other just one floor away from each other in our apartment building in the Everly Apartments in Historic Franklin, TN.
From Concept to Content
Jenny and I had met a few times in the hallways and stairwells at our mutual apartment building. At the time, we had some similarities: recently separated, two kids each, attended the same church in the past, sorting through our messes and finding new direction. Then, COVID hit, and, because we had fewer places to be, we’d often see each other at the pool, where our kids would play… hopefully from a safe distance.
Now, you’d think that this would lead to dating. But the truth is, all relationships, romantic or platonic, start with some common ground. It’s all in what you do with it.
